The following information covers our Sales Policy in full, including details on the delivery and return of goods and services purchased from or through our webstore, except where otherwise noted.
Collection In Person: Usually anything sold through our webstore, can be purchased and/or collected in person; however, please contact Litez Design & Wholesale prior to making, or immediately following, your purchase should you be intending to do this. All payments for such purchases should be in cash or sent prior to collection, in the case of cheques and postal orders, with at least four working days for clearance of cheques, crossed postal orders, BACs and IBTs into our account. No exceptions can be made for guaranteed cheques. Feedback: A buyer's confirmation of receipt for their goods or service, as feedback or a review, is always appreciated, even if only in the form of an email confirming receipt of said goods or service. If a buyer is not happy with any aspect of their purchase or service, or should their item(s) have been damaged during delivery, it would also be appreciated if they could contact Litez Design & Wholesale, so we can try to sort the order out and, if possible, improve things to avoid a re-occurence of the same thing happening again in the future. Credit & Debit Card Payments: At present online credit and debit card payments can only be accepted through PayPal. The following cards are all acceptable for use with PayPal checkout:
Also, if a card has previously been linked to a PayPal account, it might not be possible to link it to a different PayPal account at a later date without first having the card 'unlocked' by PayPal. Using PayOffline is therefore a good alternative if you are close to a Post Office, any branch of Alliance & Leicester, or any newsagent/corner store/etc. that acts as an agent for PayOffline or Payzone. Non-PayPal Payments: Cheques: Should be made payable to: John Barnes. Money Orders: Not accepted. BACs/IBTs (Bank Transfer Payments): Please make your purchase as a cheque or postal order transaction, then contact Litez Design & Wholesale through the contact page for our bank details. Postal Orders: Should be made payable to: John Barnes. If crossed, please allow 4 working days for clearance into our bank account. VAT Invoices: Litez Design & Wholesale are not VAT registered; however, a VAT invoice is generated automatically for all store orders. Christmas/New Year Orders: Cut-off date for delivery by Christmas: 15 December and upto 22 December by Special Delivery, or 24 December for New Year delivery. Cut-off date for non-UK orders: 10 December (Eire or Europe for Christmas), 20 December (Eire or Europe for New Year), 20 November (any other non-UK country for Christmas), or 1 December (any other non-UK country for New Year). These dates are intended as a guide only. Delivery times for non-UK orders outside of Europe can vary considerably. Any orders that may potentially be affected by cut-off dates will still be processed at the earliest possible date, but with no guarantee on the likelihood of being delivered in time for Christmas or the New Year. Delivery and Handling Costs: Normally no more than the delivery costs. Literally. If you find that you have been charged more than the stated delivery cost for your item(s) please contact Litez Design & Wholesale for a partial refund, should a partial refund not have already been made to you. Note: Royal Mail Special Delivery does not guarantee next day delivery over the whole of the UK. Delivery to some areas in Scotland, including the Scottish islands, can take upto 5 days, with items to be delivered by Special Delivery subject to the following size and weight restrictions:
Items to be delivered by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery are subject to the following size and weight restrictions: Maximum dimensions for rectangular items: 610mm x 460mm x 460mm Maximum length for rolled items: 900mm, with length plus twice item diameter not exceeding 1040mm Litez Design & Wholesale reserve the right to hold orders pending correct postage payment in the event of underpayment of required postage amount and will contact the buyer should such occur. Courier Delivery: Courier delivery is available for delivery to most destinations, both UK and international, and is recommended, for delivery within the UK, as a cheaper and faster alternative to the Royal Mail's Standard Parcels service once an order reaches 6Kg in weight. Customs Charges: Customs charges and other taxes (outside of VAT) associated with the purchase of goods from our webstore are the responsibility of the buyer. Delivery Times: All items for UK delivery are sent by 1st class post and are typically delivered within 3-4 days of purchase. Non-UK items will normally be sent by airmail. Delivery times can vary considerably - typically within 7 days for Eire, and upto 4 weeks for both France and the US is not unknown! Normally delivery to the Channel Islands, Scottish islands, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, or Isle of Man is classed as mainland UK delivery, with delivery to Eire classed as delivery to a European address. Returns, Damaged Items & Failed Delivery: Unless stated otherwise, all goods (damaged or otherwise) can be returned for refund, at buyer's cost, within 21 days of the date given on the sales invoice. Damaged or Faulty Items, UK: A refund in full, including return postage, will be made to the buyer for the cost of any damaged items exceeding £5 in value on the understanding that the item(s) must be returned prior to a refund being made. Please consider using trackable postage methods (eg: Recorded Delivery) when returning your item(s), as we will not process refunds on items that we fail to receive. Damaged or Faulty Items, Non-UK: A refund in full, including return postage, will be made to the buyer for the cost of any damaged items exceeding £5 in value on the understanding that the item(s) must be returned prior to a refund being made. Photographic evidence in place of a return of the damaged goods may be acceptable in some circumstances due to the cost of, or other difficulties involved in, returning the item(s). Please consider using trackable postage methods (eg: International Signed-For) when returning your item(s), as we will not process refunds on items that we fail to receive. Unwanted Items: All items can be returned at buyer's cost, if not damaged or faulty, for a full refund minus delivery costs and payment gateway charges (if applicable), with exception to refunds made through PayPal on transactions originally made through PayPal. The items to be returned must be returned in the original packaging for the item(s) (not including packaging outside of the main packaging, eg: the envelope or outer wrapper) and must be unopened or unsealed, undamaged, and unused except in some exceptional circumstances with agreement from Litez Design & Wholesale prior to a purchase being made. Please ensure that you use trackable postage methods (eg: Recorded Delivery or International Signed-For) when returning your item(s), as we will not process refunds on items that we fail to receive. Items Not Received: Please ensure that you select a trackable postage method (eg: Recorded Delivery, International Signed-For, etc.) or courier delivery when making your purchase, as refunds will not be made on orders over £5 in value, excluding delivery costs, sent using a non-trackable postage method. Combined Packaging: Most items sold through our webstore, can be combined for reduced delivery costs and will normally be combined automatically. Combined goods do not always result in delivery costs any less than that that has already been paid; however, should there be any postage overpayment on a buyer's order, a partial refund will always be available and may be requested by the buyer should they fail to receive one. |
